Early Fall Speckled Trout

On Sunday, August 26, the mission was to do some scouting for New Orleans charters later this week. Speckled trout were caught at almost every stop, fishing in New Orleans. The last spot being just a few minutes from Island Marina in New Orleans, was on fire. Cast after cast produced beautiful Speckled Trout to finish off the limit. It’s only going to get better from here as the wind continues to come from the east for the next week. Book your trip and Captain Drake will show you the fall spots that produce speckled trout between Rigolets and Chef Pass in New Orleans.
